I had the privilege of speaking on a panel at the 2017 Josiah Henson Leadership Conference. It is pretty exciting that my family, on my Dad’s side, can trace our heritage back to Josiah Henson who escaped from slavery, led over 100 slaves to freedom, and established a training center in Canada for former slaves and their descendants.
